hey peeps,
for those of you who are down with the boone and houndears bouldering scene, listen up. In the years past, houndears has always offered 250 slots to anyone willing to register in a timely manner (30 bucks for pre-registration and 45 for late registration) and crank down on the "sharpest rock on the east coast" to groms and grommets alike.
It was annouced a few weeks ago that the good ole' boys had such the success with the first triple crown that they thought they could get more deniro out of climbers when they brought it up to a astonshing 50 greenbacks for pre-registration and 150 bucks for the entire triple crown event! I have no idea what late registrastion fees are and its probably better if you don't know either?!
It is reported that the cost of sponsorship, prizes and the bush administration are the reasons of the price hike.
